I'm in a State of Panic!
January is quick upon us. I am putting together a conference for 200 people in Orlando Florida, January 12th-14th. As I sit here and work on conference details I am running through my head all the unfinished conference business that still needs to be done! And I am panicking! It just hit me this morning that I have a ton to do still. Name tags, emergency vet contacts, conference schedule, register conference delegates, set up volunteer help, vendors booths, hotel reservations for guest speakers, ribbons, Braille materal, Banquet menu choices, box lunches, shuttle bus, banquet entertainment, conference give a-ways, raffle table & items, and the list goes on...and on... and on...I was up until midnight last night working on conference stuff & back up at 5AM this morning to start again!
So as I look around my family room...this is what I see
I happen to look over and there...there is my trusty pre conference helper who has seen and heard me panic every year durning conference planning....He is always such a big help!
BACK TO CONFERENCE STUFF!

A Lot to Be Thankful for!!

"Teddy... Where is Teddy? Has anyone seen him?? Where is that dog?"

Teddy got tired of waiting for stuff to fall on the floor that he could eat...so he put himself to bed......MY BED! I am thankful that I have a dog & a bed for him to lay his head!

Getting Ready for Family
I made a lot of different dishes outside of my normal Thanksgiving menu...It was exciting to try new stuff and I was nervous not knowing how the food was going to turn out.

The Night Before
My brother Rick came over to help get things ready

He was such a big help....he cut, peeled, and did whatever I asked him to do to help! I am so thankful that he was here to help me!

My friend Darlene showed up...she was taking a break from preparing her own Thanksgiving feast...and jumped in to helped too!
I am thankful that I have friends that will jump in and help even when they have their own stuff to do!

Thanksgiving Day
My Niece Wendy came over in the morning and helped with final touches. She learned how to make stuffed eggs and "Green" Jello-Salad. I am thankful that she lives close enough and was able to make it over.

I am Thankful that I have a family to spend the day with and the food turned out pretty good!

We all took a moment and wrote down what we were Thankful for. It was fun reading them during desert.
